Sam
Castree is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for
Staff Management,
Inc., a human resource management
and consulting firm. He is also legal
counsel for the other three operating companies under
The Morrissey Family
BusinessesSM umbrella.
These include John Morrissey Accountants,
Inc., Market Dimensions, Inc. and MPower HRIS
Solutions,
Inc. This group of companies, all
headquartered in Rockford, IL, is dedicated to providing
administrative solutions to organizations that want to
focus on their business.
Sam joined
Staff Management in 1995 and is responsible for the
management of the firm's human resource management
outsourcing services as well as legal
compliance. He is a popular speaker
on labor and employment law topics. He has
spoken at seminars sponsored by national, state, and
local organizations including the Employers' Association
of Illinois, the National Business
Institute, Council on Education in Management,
Lorman Education Services, Sterling Education Services,
Illinois Municipal League Annual Conference, Rockford
Area Society for Human Resource Management, as well as
numerous in-house and company-sponsored seminars and
training sessions. Sam graduated from the University of
Illinois with a BA in
Economics. He also earned an MA from the
Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations at
the University of Illinois. He received his JD
from the College of Law at the University of
Illinois. Sam is a member of the Illinois State Bar
Association and the Winnebago County Bar Association.
Sam is very active as a community volunteer
for business, religious, educational, and non-profit
organizations.
