John Morrissey is one of the principals in the Morrissey Family Businesses^SM which is comprised of John Morrissey Accountants, Inc., Staff Management, Inc., Market Dimensions, Inc. and the newest addition, MPower HRIS Solutions, Inc. This group of companies, all headquartered in Rockford, IL, is dedicated to providing administrative solutions to organizations that want to focus on their business.

John founded John Morrissey Accountants, Inc. in 1972. He is a public accountant and began his accounting career in 1968. He has served a variety of individuals and business owners in the Rockford area since that time. He is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and specializes in federal taxation. For the past 30+ years, John has worked with small businesses as a consultant. He also focuses on helping new and small to medium-size business clients achieve their goals of growth, profitability and stability.

In 1983, John co-founded Staff Management, Inc. and currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He has been an active member in the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) and the Financial Standards Committee. John has made numerous presentations to the industry relative to the financial aspects of being a professional employer.

John continually brings insight to the organization at all levels. He attends professional continuing education classes on an ongoing basis and is actively involved with various civic and professional organizations.
